HERE COMES THE BRIDES ...

Well, another wedding weekend has passed without a catastrophe, thank you Lord. Cakes were safely delivered for Andrea and James and we hurried off to photograph Aubrey and Robert's wedding. Here's the cakes from one and the bride and groom from the other.

Steady hands, yeah. Patience comes and goes. Weddings always make me cry. The maid of honor read an e-mail from the groom's best friend who is stationed in Iraq and had thought he would be back in time for the wedding. I'm standing in the back with my camera crying. I don't even know these people! I look over at my husband and he's shaking his head at me, knowing I was crying even when he couldn't see my face! Of course he still laughs about the day he caught me crying while I was working on my WIP.

Never be ashamed of those tears.

I can be seriously pathetic. As it is, there's this Integris commercial out now -- the second it starts I turn the channel, yet I still freaking cry.

The cakes and couple are both beautiful. That kiss is beautiful.
