I love the pic. Gena's pic was hot wasn't it.
Where did you learn to decorate such awesome cakes?

I bought lots and lots of book and videos and made a lot of cakes for family and friends over the past twenty-plus years. My goal is to retire from cakes over the coming year.

Hubby is a photographer and I'm helping him with weddings and we're branching out into albums - photo collages done in Photoshop and the new software we've recently purchased - and I'm excited about the possibilities. Pretty cool stuff.
I want to devote more time to writing and baking cakes seems to suck my energy and my imagination dry.

Chrystal, go back a few weeks into the archives and look at the kilt guy that started it all. I'll put more cakes up. And I'm thinking about doing progress reports during the upcoming cake season. More pictures than text.
